Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, popularly known as GITAM was founded in 1980. It is the first private institute in Andhra Pradesh to receive the university status. Spread across 110 acres of lush greenery, the main campus of GITAM is located in Visakhapatnam and it has two other campuses at Hyderabad and Bengaluru, established in 2009 and 2012, respectively. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program offered by the GITAM University is a two-year program. Courses offered at the program elevate the understanding and sharpens the skills of students in the area of decision making, leadership, change management, consumer behavior, and entrepreneurial management.
