UPSC 2020 Current Affairs

To prepare for any competitive exam, one of the important sections to read and learn is current affairs of Civil Services. Current affairs are an integral part of the general awareness section of these exams.

In order to prepare you for the challenges in the exam or competition you are aspiring for, we cover the periodic and category-wise current affairs topics that are relevant for all types of competitive exams mentioned above.

UPSC Prelims

Prelims is the first phase of recruitment process of UPSC CSE for the post of IAS, IPS, IF, IRS etc. Prelims Exam will constitute of 2 papers: General Studies (Paper I) & General Studies (Paper II). Candidates need to qualify both these papers to be eligible for Mains Exam. Both paper will carry 200 marks and will have a time limit of 2 hours.

UPSC Main

It is the 2nd Phase of the Civil Services Examination. IAS aspirants who clear the Prelims are eligible to appear for the UPSC Main exam.

Candidates who aspire to become IAS, IPS, IFS and IRS officers have to give UPSC Mains before they are cleared for the IAS interview/UPSC Personality Test stage.
