CUET Exam Analysis 2024
Shift 1: Chemistry
According to the initial responses received from the students, the difficulty level of the CUET Chemistry paper was slightly more difficult than the previous year. Overall, the paper was difficult.
Organic Chemistry:
- Questions were relatively straightforward and covered basic concepts like Friedel-Crafts reaction, types of solutions, and organic reactions.
Physical Chemistry:
- Questions were easy to moderately difficult, covering basic concepts like stoichiometry, electrochemistry, osmotic pressure, vapour pressure, reaction rates, electrolysis, and order of reactions.
Inorganic Chemistry:
- Questions were easy to moderately difficult, covering topics like electrophilic aromatic substitution, Etard reaction, transition metal complexes, ionization enthalpy, oxidation states, and properties of lanthanides and actinides, sigma bonds in molecules like P4O10, etc.
The detailed chapter and topic-wise question distribution are mentioned in the table below.
