CUET Exam Analysis 2024
Shift 4: Mathematics
Mathematics was the second science stream subject to be conducted on day 2, after Physics in shift 3. The Mathematics paper was scheduled for the last shift of day 2 (shift 4).
Similar to the Chemistry paper on Day 1, the CUET Maths paper of CUET (UG) 2024 was a little difficult in the difficulty level. Students and subject experts agreed that the common section of the maths paper was a bit easy to moderately difficult compared to the optional section. Both the optional sections were a little difficult, and students faced challenges, including time constraints.
Though NTA increased the exam duration from 45 to 60 minutes for Maths papers, many students complained about the paper being lengthy and a level higher in difficulty than the previous year.
The detailed section-wise analysis of questions and their difficulty level is provided in the table below.
